Tensile loads are applied on the same axis of the bolt installation. A Safety Factor of 4:1 is recommended for all static loads. Where vibration occurs, the
high safety factors should be increased as high as 10:1.

Anchors loaded in tension and shear simultaneously will have ultimate capacities lower than an anchor loaded in tension or shear separately. Combined loads
should be calculated on a straight-line interaction diagram of pure shear (S) and pure tension (T).
